Process - How We Work

1. Initial site visit and briefing

After an initial telephone conversation to understand the style of works, we will make a site visit in order to discuss the requirements of the client, take a comprehensive brief and make an initial analysis of the site.

We will follow up this meeting with a fee proposal to develop the brief into a design concept. This proposal will detail some initial thoughts on the works briefed.

2. Concept development and presentation

We develop initial concept drawings, which include 3D computer modelling of the proposed design. These are presented to the client in person to allow proper explanation and discussion of the concepts being presented.

We will spend time understanding the environment through soil, sun and shade analysis, as well as your lifestyle.

3. Design development

Following this concept presentation, the drawings are refined or iterated as required and budget costings are developed to help guide decision making.

At this stage we start to specify finishes, planting stages and construction details as required, making this as detailed as the project requires.

4. Implementation of the design

Once the design has been signed off, we will schedule the delivery phase of works and deliver the works to the highest standards in a tidy and professional manner.

5. Handover

Once works have been completed, we will hand this over to you or the maintenance team with supporting documentation. Most importantly the garden will be ready for you, your family and your friends to enjoy for many years to come.

We will of course be available to assist as required as the garden takes on a life of its own.
