PROJECT ANALYSIS

We pride ourselves on developing wonderful client relations and strive to make every part of the process a professional and enjoyable one.

After taking an initial brief via telephone, a site visit is the first opportunity for us to meet you and gain a thorough understanding of the objectives and intentions for your project. Calling upon our knowledge and expertise we will guide you through some design considerations and follow this up by producing a design fee proposal, a quote for the build/planting or a combination of the two for those clients looking for a complete design and build solution.

DESIGN & BUILD

Concept Design

Having taken down a detailed brief we will develop an initial concept garden design, being sympathetic to any environmental variants like sun, soil, shade, lifestyle habits and personality. At this point using 3D modelling we will bring your vision to life. For the first time you will be able to see the potential for your dream space starting to take shape. Alongside the design concept presentation we will develop some initial budget costings to help guide decision making with regard to the proposed design.

Scheme Development

The next stage is to take the concept design to the detailed design stage. In consultation with you we will start to specify finishes, laying patterns, jointing chouses, planting preferences and think about the construction components of the job. We also have existing relationships with many different garden professionals and are happy to work alongside and tender on existing or projects designed by an external garden designer.

GARDEN CONSTRUCTION

The project starts to take physical form. Once the design gets signed off our project manager will schedule the works and start to implement your scheme.

Hard Landscaping

We have expertise in all aspects of hard landscaping. From block paving to driveways, building walls, bespoke masonry, fencing and boundary screening. We have lots of experience installing water features, irrigation systems, hot tub/hydro-pool, outdoor kitchens, and pergolas with integral lighting. We can install Corten steel features, build decking and even do roof terrace transformations. Our professional landscapers pride themselves on their ability to produce outstanding work for our clients in a timely and tidy manner.

Garden Planting

Guy Jones winner of Horticulturist of the Year knows a thing or two about plants and with his encyclopaedic knowledge and our nursery stock home grown here at the Glasshouses, we are well positioned to advise and supply your soft landscaping needs. Whether you want screening plants, border redesigns, feature planting, some advice on colour or wildlife friendly choices, or you need your whole garden remodelled, our knowledge and passion for plants runs throughout the entire company.

MAINTENANCE

After we have designed, built, and delivered your wonderful new garden we will handover with advice on how to keep this living space flourishing and looking stunning for years to come. We can assist you with developing a maintenance program for the upkeep as your garden moves through the seasons and takes on a life of its own, but we can also design a bespoke schedule for our specialist maintenance team to take care of in conjunction with your specific requirements.

If you have an existing, established garden you need some help with the upkeep of, we can also construct a maintenance program to suit your individual needs.
