Cheltenham Town Garden and Driveway

Our brief for this project was to design and build the gardens to link the basement, first floor and existing garden. We created an artistic space using a resin bound solution and no grass, which worked with the pressures of dog use in a small space.

It was important that the garden design matched the house; stylish without trying too hard! We built the garden in two phases. Phase one in 2019 was to execute the back garden before the garage extension, which would block access to the rear.

In 2020 we completed phase 2: Designing and building the driveway and front ‘garden’, which had to interface with the new garage (now at basement level), without restricting vehicular use of the driveway.
