Contemporary Country Garden

We were contracted during the building works to consult on implementing the concept designs by Jo Alderson and act as the main contractor for all external landscaping works. This involved liaising with the builders to agree site handover, ground remediation, specimen tree selection and material finishes ahead of starting the works.

Over six months of 2018, we touched every m² of the nearly three-acre site; working closely with the client to develop and implement the design intent. Highlights include external porcelain steps, fully SUDS compliant private drive, a Corten steel amphitheatre, water cascade and rill, 600 square meters of wildflower turf, 4000 bulbs, an intensive green roof et al.

We continue to be involved with the soft landscaping and maintain a good relationship with the client and all the subcontractors that were involved. We believe this to be one of the very best examples of what can be achieved through considerate construction and intelligent design.
