Project Description
Yelford Manor, Oxfordshire. We were contacted by the designer Katie Guillebaud in the early phase of a complete renovation to the 14th century manor house at Yelford. From there, we were involved with implementing a full garden redesign on and off over the next three years.
We were chosen as preferred contractors due to our extensive plant knowledge and sympathetic construction methods and landscape management considering the heritage and sensitivity of the house and wider landscape. The scheme involved large areas of naturalistic planting, significant paving and stonework with reclaimed materials sourced from site and through our specialist suppliers locally and in Yorkshire.
Some specific design features in the wider landscape included relocating the entrance and driveway, finding and working closely with the swimming pool contractor to site this within the landscape which included sensitive planting of specimen trees and a large pictorial meadow.
